THE SPINAL COLUMN

Many things can impair your nervous system and interfere with its function. When there is no interference, your nervous system controls the healthy function of virtually every cell, tissue, organ, and system of your body.

CERVICAL

The Cervical Spine refers to the neck region. The vertebrae from this region help protect the brainstem and skull. Impairment of these nerves can cause surprising symptoms including: headaches, sinus problems, cough, stiff neck, heartburn, and wrist/hand pain.

THORACIC

The Thoracic Spine contains the largest section of the spine. These vertebrae are larger and more stable than the Cervical Vertebrae. These sturdy vertebrae protect the center and upper body as well as support the ribs.

Being the largest section of the spine, nerve dysfunction from this region can cause many symptoms throughout the body. Some of these include: fatigue, sore throat, hearing problems, laryngitis, chest pains, liver conditions, stomach troubles, and constipation.

LUMBAR

The Lumbar Spine contains 5 vertebrae that are designed to carry most of the body’s weight. Issues with with these vertebrae often cause: gas pains, knee pains, constipation, hernias, menstrual problems, sciatica, low back pain, leg cramps and cold feet.

SACRAL

The Sacral Spine is located behind the pelvis and contains 5 bones which are fused into a triangular shape. Nerve dysfunction from this region can cause: sterility, bladder problems, bed wetting, knee pain, low back pain, numbness in legs, and swollen ankles.
